A Glamorous Start to the 3 Zurich Film Festival
The red carpet will be rolled out before the cinema Corso on Thursday, September 27, 2007: The 3rd Zurich Film Festival will be ceremoniously opened in the presence of many prominent guests from home and abroad.
Alexandra Maria Lara (German actress in “Der Untergang”, “ Vom Suchen und Finden der Liebe” and others) will be welcomed as the Star Guest. The renowned jury members (Albert S. Ruddy, Moritz Bleibtreu, Bettina Oberli, Justus von Dohnanyi and Dieter Meier) along with numerous other personalities from the film business, politics and economics will also attend. The German comedy star Anke Engelke will host the evening. Eddie Redmayne (leading actor) and Tom Kalin (director) present their new film “Savage Grace” (France/Spain/USA 2007), which has already fascinated film enthusiasts.
The huge Afterparty in Globus at Bellevue will ice the cake. The illustrious guests will enjoy culinary delights to a live performance by “Belleruche” and party until the wee small hours of the morning.
