Audi renews its Main Partnership for three years Wednesday 22. April 2009

Audi is renewing its sponsoring commitment as a Main Partner of the Zurich Film Festival for additional three years. Audi is also Partner of the Opening Night and provides the entire transport fleet for the VIP guests of the festival. The Zurich Film Festival has been generously supported by Audi since 2005, which has allowed the festival to grow and develop continuously. Blind Loves in Swiss theaters Tuesday 14. April 2009

Blind Loves, last years competiton winner in the category "Best Documentary Film", is now running in Swiss German theaters.

Director Juraj Lehotsky's first documentary film allows an insight into the emotionally rich world created by the protagonists against all odds. [more]

New German-speaking Competition at the Zurich Film Festival Tuesday 07. April 2009

The fifth annual Zurich Film Festival celebrates its anniversary by adding a new category to its international competition. Young, up-and-coming filmmakers from Switzerland, Austria and Germany have already been the focus of last year's popular side bar "Panorama D" as well as the Master Class workshops. Now, the Zurich Film Festival puts an even stronger focus on German speaking filmmaking. From September 24 to October 4, 8 to 10 films from German speaking europe will compete for the Golden Eye in the category "best German speaking film". With this new category also films from German speaking Switzerland will receive a larger platform. [more]
