Roman Polanski is regarded as one of the most unconventional filmmakers of our time and will receive the "Golden Eye" for his life`s work as a director. He will receive the honour for his filmic creations on Sunday, September 27, 2009 within the framework of the "A Tribute to" series at the Zurich Film Festival.
