Volunteers 2008

We are looking for volunteers who support us at the 4th Zurich Film Festival. This year, the festival takes place from September 25 to October 5, 2008, and your commitment is essential to the success of this extraordinary event. As a reward you will receive a festival pass worth CHF 200.-!

Assignment

Together with the festival team you will attend a compulsory introductory meeting in the run-up to the festival. In order to guarantee a smooth workflow during the festival, a minimum assignment of five shifts (8 hours each) is required. People volunteering need to be 18 years or older.

Functions

As a volunteer you will be appointed to one of the following duties:

  • Information booth – handing out festival passes and tickets for accredited visitors and sponsors. Giving out general information on the festival, the programme, etc.
  • Festival bar – selling drinks and snacks at the festival bar
  • Catering – serving drinks and snacks at special events during the festival
  • Set up/tear down – supporting the setting up and tearing down of the festival infrastructure
  • Transport – transportation of goods, load and unload
  • Dispatch – helping with several dispatches, administrative support
  • Handymen – flexible assignments, wherever you’re needed!
