"A S Det’ Mi – Shestero" documents the life of the poorest, the destiny of those whose problems are exclusively existential. But for all that it is also a film about love, which flowers untouched even on the highest piles of rubbish, for when love comes, nothing else matters.
Nobody would wish to live like the people portrayed in the film, yet they are the very ones experiencing life in its entirety. Every day they survive despite the dreadful difficulties life throws at them and they learn to accept that life is so – contrary to our intellectual valuation.
